Decision on advanced studies "Dr Laza Lazarevic K." is intended for DMNS members who wish to undergo additional professional training and gain new experiences working on neurological departments of eminent medical centers in Europe.

For this type of training all DMNS members can apply.

The aim of the training is to improve the level of knowledge and skills in everyday clinical work of young neurologists, and also to implement scientific research in the field of clinical neurology by introducing new diagnostic procedures, learning the latest European protocols, facilitating future cooperation and projects with renowned European institutions.

Planned visits will be organized in academic / university European centers. We have access to the following cities: Milan, Dresden or Innsbruck. PThe planned stay is for a period of one month, and the planned funds, in the amount of 2,000 euros in dinar equivalent, are intended to cover the costs of travel, accommodation and residence.

Knowledge of English or the language spoken in the country of residence is required.

Applying must be done by filling the application form, which can be found on the website of the Society of Serbian Neurologists and attaching the following documents: - copy of passport (or ID card),
- Curriculum vitae,
- List of published scholar papers,
- A letter of recommendation by superiors colleagues (head or director of the institution you work at),
- Motivation letter

The selection of candidates shall be performed by a team consisting of DNS presidency, the DMNS presidency and the DMNS Committee for scholarships, based on information from CVs and letters of recommendation.

The competition results will be announced no later than on 1 September of the current year. Selected candidates will be notified both by mail and e-mail. Advanced studies should be realized by the next April..

The selected candidate is expected to get a cover letter (letter of recommendation) after completion of training, by mentor he performed the advanced studies with. Upon return to the home institution (within one month from the date of return) selected candidate should submit brief report on the stay to the DMNS representation, which will have to include a general impression of the performance of education, the advantages and shortcomings of stay as well as suggestions that will help in the further development of the scholarship project and approximate financial report.

The report will be a part of a Society of Young Serbian Neurologists' journal content, Sinapsa
